Alienoid (2022)

Alienoid is a Korean science fiction action film made in 2022. So for context, there are live creatures from other planets, which to us are “aliens”. The aliens from that planet who have committed crimes are locked away in prison. This prison is the human body. They take the criminals and put them into human bodies. Bodies from the past, and bodies in the future. The thing is that these humans are unaware that their bodies are being used as jail cells to hold these creatures. So until that human dies the alien lives inside of them. But recently the aliens have been escaping so that is where the story begins when in one of the timelines there are these monks trying to fight this alien who has managed the escape their human capsule but to no avail. Then suddenly a portal opens up and out comes a jeep with a humanoid robot inside. The jeep’s name is thunder and he is a robot along with Guard who is the humanoid robot, they both are from the same planet as the criminal aliens. The reason they are here is to capture the escaping aliens and put them in another prison, which this time is not a human body. They both also use the Crystal Knife to turn into a human form which is how they are able to survive on Earth with a different atmosphere. The body that the alien had just escaped from though was a mother to an infant girl. Without Guard’s permission, Thunder decides to take the baby with them back home. This child will soon become the main character, her name is Lee Ahn. Where the movie leaves off is when Lee Ahn along with Gaurd and Thunder get sent to the timeline where Ahn was from to find the “controller” who is kind of the leader type of thing to the aliens. During the fight, Gaurd ends up dying, but for some reason, their chance of winning is still going up. The reason why is all because of Lee Ahn. During all the chaos happening back in the “present” time she was able to grab a gun and she ended up really hurting the controller to the point they will need to find another human body to continue living. But the twist with getting a new human body is that they lose all their memories as an alien. Who he ends up going into, you’ll have to watch the movie to figure out. Back to what happened to Thunder and Ahn, they ended up falling off the cliff and into the water. Since Thunder is a robot he changes from a jeep to a space ship and he sinks to the bottom of the river while Lee manages to swim up. This is how she ends up back to where she is from, and at the “current time” for ten years she’s been looking for this knife, and then she finally finds it. But there is something special about this knife so everyone wants it which is why it’s been so hard for her to obtain it. But till the next movie who knows whether she’ll end up with it and what will happen to the supposed “controller”.
