Sling Kong (2015)

Sling Kong is a mobile game that can be played anytime, anywhere, as it does not require WiFi to run. Sling Kong is a simple and relaxing game with some cool elements to it. The main part of the game is where the player would sling the ‘kong’, or in-game character from circle to circle, climbing up an infinite wall. As the kong goes higher on the wall, the player will be awarded a higher score. There are obstacles located on the wall to make it harder for the kong to land on the next circle. Some obstacles include, but are not limited to moving circles, random shape barriers, crushing stones, and fireball spitting plants. Players can unlock additional kongs by gaining coins while playing and using them in the prize machine, giving the player a random kong reward. Coins can also be earned once a day by participating in the free coin spin. Sling Kong has one global feature, where a new course can be played daily. Players can compete against each other to get the lowest completed time possible. Overall, Sling Kong is an enjoyable experience that can be enjoyed by anyone.

This is a graphic made using Photoshop of the Oakland Athletics Outfielder/Designated Hitter Brent Rooker. There are three cut-outs of Brent in the graphic, with the first two larger ones located at the top of the graphic, on top of an image of Oakland Coliseum, home of the Athletics. Further down the graphic, the 3d text of ‘Rooker’ can be found separating the two main parts of the graphic. Below it, the third cut-out or Brent can be found on top of a rock, in a forest environment. The moon is shining onto Brent, along with various other glows and fogs to complete the composition.

IT is a horror movie surrounding 8 kids who overcome their fears to defeat a killer clown who terrorizes their town every 27 years. In the beginning, Bill loses his little brother Georgie from Pennywise, the killer clown, who kills Georgie. This leads to Bill trying to rally his friends and form the group “The Losers Group”. Together they go around town and eventually they find Pennywise and in the final battle, they overcome their fears and defeat him. The movie ends with the kids making a blood oath and promising that if the clown ever came back, they would come together and face it again together.
The theme of the movie I feel is to overcome your fears. Pennywise is a shapeshifting clown who can turn into whatever you are afraid of and this makes children easy prey for him. The camaraderie and togetherness of the Loser Club develops throughout the movie and there is even some romance involved as well. The movie is well made and does a great job of scaring the viewers. The actor of Pennywise does a fantastic job throughout the movie and for any horror movie lovers, this movie is a must watch. (8.5/10)

Chained Together (2024)

Chained Together is a single/multiplayer platformer game that involves jumping from obstacle to obstacle while increasing the height off the ground, but while being chained to other players. The game came out recently on Steam on June 19, 2024, and has since became extremely popular among YouTubers and the gaming community. Chained Together involves highly intense timing and parkour which leads to exhilarating experiences among friends who play together. If you like to play with friends, this game should be perfect for you.
