Book Review by Tracy X.

Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline
(2013) 278 pages

This book is something you should allot a lot of time for, since it is almost (at least for me) impossible to put down. Once you begin to read, the story will suck you in so much that you have to turn each and every page. I believe that all history lovers will thoroughly enjoy this book because it teaches you about little bits of history that you most likely would never have heard of before. I’m an avid history lover, and I truly enjoyed learning and researching about these events. The story was interesting, but I was sort of confused sometimes about the chronological order of the book, and I also sometimes questioned whether or not some parts were relevant or important to the story, although it is a good read. I would recommend this book to anyone who has a lot of free time and also wants to learn more about history while enjoying an interesting and immersive story.
