Teen Tank

Teen Tank brought Shark Tank to our library. Teens learned the skills to become entrepreneurs. On Day 1, they watched a couple of episodes of Shark Tank and then in groups of two, came up with their own products. On Day 2, they made prototypes of their product and wrote down a script to present to the sharks. It included the product with its description, how much they wanted as an investment for a certain percentage into their business.

The 5 groups came up with these products:
Bendy Board
Sticker Ink (Winners)
Pop-Up Shelves
3D Screen
Ms. Automatically

Teen Volunteer Club: Block Party

This party was a blast!!! Teens helped the younger kids build with all the different blocks.

Summer Reading Wrap Up

We had our first in-person program outside in the newly constructed portion of the parking lot on Friday August 13. I created a book-themed scavenger hunt and we gave out raffle prizes and Smallcakes cupcake push-pops.

We had 80 teens registered for Summer Reading. They read 214 books in total, great job everyone!

Here are some prize winners!

Can anyone solve the book/Netflix show?
